Dreadlocks are for Black People

One of the things I love about my children is their hair. My son had very long hair (middle of his back) until the 1st grade. He said the girls loved it and wouldn’t stop playing with it and the boys said he looked like a girl. I discussed with him that I think he would look awesome with dreadlocks. Not missing a beat he said, “Deadlocks are for Black people.”

What I Learned from Sonny Chiba

I bought a 3-disc Bruce Lee DVD about a year ago. One of the disc contained three 1970’s movies starring a Japanese actor named Sonny Chiba. Chiba plays Takuma (Terry in the English dub) Tsurugi. These movies were The Street Fighter, Return of the Street Fighter, and Sister Street Fighter.

They were chock full of violence and gore.
